Accessibility
We want to give everyone the same chance to experience the internet in an equal way. So we have designed our site to be available to the widest audience possible. Listed below are some of the features employed to make the site easier to use.
Accessibility Web Standards Compliance
- Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict
- Valid CSS

Access Keys
Access keys are keyboard shortcuts that replace the need to use a mouse for navigation. For this document, you can use:
- 0 for Accessibility page
- 1 to go to the homepage
- M to go to main navigation
- S for main content of the current page
On Windows, you can press the ‘alt’ key and the access key, followed by the ‘enter’ key. On Macintosh, you can press the ‘ctrl’ key and the access key.
Please note your browser may not support access keys.
Navigating This Website
To navigate through this website, please use the menu on the left side of the page. If you are using a screen reader, you can use the access key alt – M (press enter) and this will take you to the main menu, from where you can use the tab key to navigate through the links.
Screen Reader Access & Navigation Shortcuts
A screen reader is a software programme often used by people with visual impairments to read web pages aloud. This website contains several features to support their usage: The first link on the page is a hidden ‘Skip to content’ link that allows screen reader users to skip directly to the main content of the page, bypassing links and site graphics and the main menu. The second link is a hidden ‘Skip to navigation’ link that jumps users to the main menu, bypassing links and site graphics.
